As I delved deeper into filmmaking, I began experimenting with more unconventional formats, like the Super 8 film camera and 8mm film. This analog experience opened a new world for me. There’s a raw, nostalgic beauty to film that digital can’t replicate, and it pulled me even further into the world of visual expression.

Today, my work is fueled by that same passion: to create films that feel alive — that move, inspire, and connect. Whether it’s the ocean, the people, or the fleeting moments in between, I strive to capture it all with honesty, creativity, and a heart full of love.

Here are some past films that I have created in the past.

Hi! My name is Nick.
From a young age, I have been inspired by the power of film and photography — the way a single frame can hold emotion, movement, and memory is magical to me. Growing up going to the ocean with a deep love for surfing, I naturally began to blend my passions. I picked up a camera not just to document, but to express the unique rhythm and soul of the surf.

What started as a simple curiosity evolved into a small filming business, where I worked closely with surfers to help them refine their craft. By capturing their sessions and analyzing performance through footage, I discovered the real impact of visual storytelling — not just as art, but as a way to help improve as well.

While my expertise is in filmmaking and editing, I also have digital and film photography experience as well. My work captures fast-paced moments of surfing with precision and creativity, showcasing a deep understanding of timing, composition, and the dynamic nature of the sport. I am also experienced in color correction in images as well.

Here are my top three personal favorite photos that I have taken in the past.
